Step 2 - Removal of Top and Bottom Covers

Next up is to remove the top and bottom covers.

First you must remove the screws holding the covers in place. There are two per side, each located near where the display was.


Even though the screws are removed, the covers are still firmly on there.  You have to 'unsnap' them by inserting your flat head screwdriver into the slot on each clip (toward the middle) and then rotating. You'll see what I mean when you look at it.  As an alternative, you can always bust up your fingers prying if off. =)

Make sure to do this for both top and bottom.  For the top cover, you may have to unsnap the back as well. (the back does not snap in on the bottom cover)
