Step 3 - Separating the CD Player/Cassette from the bottom board

Basically we are now going to separate the unit into two halves.

Before we can seperate the unit, we must remove the screws that hold it together as well as rotating a metal clip (you'll see).
First up are the screws near the CD player at the top half of the unit:

Now rotate the unit around, and look at the back.

There are two move screws here.

Now flip the unit over, and look at the bottom.
If you look along the middle, at each side, you will see two small holes with a small metal clip sticking through it. When you look at the clip, you'll notice that it is rotated about 20 degrees or so.
In order for us to get the base board off, we are going to have to rotate those clips so they line up with the hole.

Ok, now to begin separating the two halves.

First up is to rotate the unit around so we are looking at the back again. If you look closely, you can see a gap between the two halves.
Insert a flat head screwdriver into that line, and rotate it, popping the board up a bit. You don't have to get it to separate just yet.

Now if you look at the bottom again, you'll notice that those metal clips probably are still above the board.
If you insert a small screwdriver near each clip, you can pop up the back board by pressing up on it.

Ok, once it pops off you can simply remove it

Now we have our two halves =)
